Gina Carano Declares War on Lucasfilm and Cancel Culture

Gina Carano may no longer be a part of The Mandalorian but that doesn't mean that the fight is over. The Deadpool star has just made it clear she is far from done and somehow declared war on Lucasfilm and the whole "cancel culture".

Carano was recently fired from The Mandalorian following her "offensive" and "tasteless" social media posts. Nevertheless, the actress has found some allies who are more than willing to back her up.

After her removal from the Star Wars series, Carano confirmed that she will be working on her own film which will be a collaboration project with Ben Shapiro and his website The Daily Wire. Carano has since been sharing updates about the project on Twitter and her latest post sounds like a declaration of war.

Carano retweeted Shapiro's tweet about her involvement with the Daily Wire which featured the hashtag #GinaCaranoIsUncancelled. She then added an interesting caption to her post.

"This is just the beginning.. welcome to the rebellion," Carano wrote.

Now that sounds like a Star Wars reference as well as a declaration that she isn't backing down. Needless to say, it looks like we'll be seeing more of Carano in the future. It just won't be in The Mandalorian Season 3.

People have started calling for Carano's removal from The Mandalorian since last year when she made transphobic pronoun jokes on Twitter. Even then, the actress had refused to remove the "pronouns" from her Twitter bio although she eventually changed it.

The Mandalorian Season 3 is expected to begin production later this year and is set to premiere on Disney+ in 2022.
