A recent report has revealed that Giancarlo Esposito will be making his MCU debut in Captain America: Brave New World.
For the past few weeks, fans have been speculating on which project is the Emmy-nominated actor set to make his MCU debut after he revealed his upcoming involvement in the franchise.
So far, the official details regarding Esposito's MCU debut are still under wraps, but the actor teased that it's a role that we won't predict and it will lead to a TV series afterward.

Giancarlo Esposito Reportedly Appearing in Captain America: Brave New World
Esposito is set to make an appearance in Captain America: Brave New World according to a recent report.
His role in the film is described as an "antagonistic agent of chaos" and it won't be either Magneto or Doctor Doom which is what some fans were hoping for in his MCU role.
The report also noted that Esposito's role was added to the film as part of the reshoots after writer Matthew Orton was brought on board to contribute new material for the script.
So far, Marvel Studios has not confirmed the claims that were made in the report.
While the signs are indicating that Esposito will be playing a villainous character once again, it looks like it won't be a familiar role that fans might expect and the actor has already hinted that his role is "original" and "new and fresh" which is in alignment with what the report claimed.
Nevertheless, it is still exciting that Esposito is now part of the MCU since he is a talented actor and always puts gravitas to every role that he plays even if it's a villain.
We might be hearing more details about his role in the coming months once we're closer to the release of the film early next year.
Captain America: Brave New World is slated for release in theaters on February 14, 2025.
