Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is the perfect time for Marvel Studios to introduce new characters to the fold. This year alone, we've seen new faces in Agatha Harkness, Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, and Yelena Belova join the billion-dollar franchise and in the coming months, Kevin Feige and his crew are set to welcome new additions to their roster including Shang-Chi and the Eternals.

The Walking Dead Star Norman Reedus Continues Campaigning to be MCU's Ghost Rider

It seems like the powers that be have yet to make up their minds regarding the Ghost Rider casting and apparently, fans are torn as well. The King of Hell trended on Twitter as fans try to decide which between Norman Reedus and Keanu Reeves would be the better choice to take on the role. Reedus has actively expressed his desire to play the character while Reeves was previously rumored to be joining the MCU as Frank Ryder.

I think it's still a little too early to tell if Ghost Rider will in fact be joining the franchise anytime soon because the MCU currently has a lot on its plate. With the Fantastic Four and the X-Men set to debut, it's safe to say the Marvel Studios will choose to prioritize them first before bringing in other iconic characters from the comics.
