Netflix's Dead Boy Detective is a comedy series set to be released on April 25, 2024. The series is all about two ghosts, Edwin Paine and Charles Rowland who died and decided not to go to the afterlife. Instead, they decide to stay on earth and investigate supernatural crimes by helping ghosts resolve their mysteries.
One of the major characters, Edwin Paine, is played by British actor, singer, director, and theatre performer George Rexstrew. The 26-year-old was born on May 6th, 1997 and his role as Edwin Paine his first official television role. Aside from acting, he's a talented singer with a tenor voice and also a bit of a dancer.

According to his IMDB profile, we know he played a notable role in a short movie Findhorn Case 31.08. He hasn't released much information about himself but what we do know is that he is a graduate of the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Arts (LAMDA), 2018-2020.
According to his LAMDA CV, he has been cast in plays like Screen 9 which he also helped develop. His other productions at the school were Appropriate, Twelfth Night, The Country Wife, Three Sisters, The Challenging, Love and Understanding, and Baby Boom. Rexstrew is also trained in stage combat, with a distinction in BGSC Level Three [Advanced] Sabre.
George's role as Edwin Paine in Dead Boy Detective is a stepping stone in his journey as an actor and I'm sure we'll get to see him cast in other movies in the future.
