George MacKay Replaces Ezra Miller as The Flash in Awesome New Art


In case you missed it, there are rumors that Ezra Miller will be replaced in The Flash and the new actor is reportedly being backed by Warner Bros. Discovery. Now, a new art depicts George MacKay as Miller's replacement in the upcoming DC Extended Universe flick.

Last Friday, Hollywood scooper Grace Randolph reported that Warner Bros. Discovery is already eyeing George MacKay as the new Barry Allen. However, it is unclear if the 1917 star will replace Ezra Miller in The Flash or if he will take over the role in future DCEU projects.

Not surprisingly, people are already discussing the possibility of welcoming a new Barry Allen soon. This led to an awesome new fan art imagining George MacKay as The Flash. Check it out below.

The fan art was created by digital artist clements.ink and he clearly supports the idea of MacKay taking over the role. Since sharing the image, the account has received praise.

So what are the chances Barry Allen will be recast in The Flash? At this point, it looks like the film has already been completed and it is unlikely that there will be reshoots. However, it isn't entirely impossible considering that Warner Bros. might want to start anew with the project. In the meantime, we'll have to wait for an official announcement from the studio.

Ezra Miller has faced a lot of controversy in the past few years starting with the incident where they strangled a woman and threw her to the ground. Miller was also arrested in Hawaii following a physical altercation with patrons at a karaoke bar. Most recently, they were accused of grooming a minor although Miller defended their relationship with the teenager.

The Flash is scheduled to be released on June 23, 2023.
