There's a lot of things to love about the Star Wars franchise, but one of the parts that fans adore are the epic lightsaber battles. One fan-favorite fight is Obi-Wan Kenobi's face-off with General Grievous from Revenge of the Sith. And while it is, indeed, a cool scene, there might have been a much more epic battle than that one.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Star Wars stunt coordinator Nick Gillard recalled a fight scene that fans didn't have the chance to see. In his opinion, it was a "better" scene compared to Obi-Wan's fight with Grievous.

He revealed that the Jedi Master was originally going to fight six Magnaguards, all with electrostaffs. Gillard says the six-to-one battle was the "most complicated fight" scene they ever did. Unfortunately, it wasn't pulled through.

Gillard said Ewan McGregor even trained for weeks to master the fight choreography. However, when it was time to shoot the said sequence, they were running short on time for the production. This is when George Lucas decided to just let Obi-Wan use the Force to beat all the guards in one go. The stunt coordinator revealed that Lucas said, "I'm really sorry, I'm going to drop a container on five of them!"

Basically, that's how the epic scene came into fruition. For some, they might be content with the scene that actually made the cut. It's loved by many fans, after all. But others would agree with Gillard on getting to see a "better" duel than the one mentioned.
