General Leia Organa , Maz Kanata Among New Additions To Hasbro’s Star Wars Black Series

Lucasfilm might not have a panel for Star Wars or The Last Jedi at this year's San Diego Comic Con, but that doesn't mean that Star Wars fans are going to be left empty handed at the geek and pop culture convention.

Though the terrible shortage on Star Wars footage at this year's SDCC has been upsetting most fans, comic con attendees are still enjoying their time nabbing great Star Wars merchandise and according to a new report by Screen Rant, Hasbro has just revealed some new additions to their popular Star Wars Black Series line.

SDCC is always a great place for toy companies to make announcements, and during Hasbro's panel the company unveiled its latest Black Series additions including The Force Awakens General Organa and Maz Kanata, Clone Wars Captain Rex, a Rogue One Rebel Fleet Trooper, and A New Hope dewback.

This is exciting news for collectors. Carrie Fisher's unexpected passing puts a premium on Leia merchandise, and with The Last Jedi coming in fans will definitely want to get their own General Organa figures. There also hasn't been any solo Black series figure for Maz Kanata before and dewbacks accompanied by a stormtrooper seem like a pretty good catch for anyone collecting Black series figures.
