Gary Oldman Wouldn't Mind Being in a Marvel Movie

Gary Oldman is an acclaimed actor whose line of work has impressed many critics and fans. The actor famously portrayed Jim Gordon in Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, capturing what many fans love about the character in the comic books. While his work on the DC film will be remembered for some time, the actor has since expressed interest in working for Marvel.

Speaking with People, the veteran actor said that his son would love to see him in the MCU. He even teased fans by saying Marvel hasn't called him for a role yet, so it will be fun to see what could happen. If his portrayal of a Marvel character is half as good as his work on Jim Gordon, comic book fans everywhere would be pleased.

"Marvel hasn't called me. But now that you mentioned it, if they're tuning in, my son wants me to!"

Oldman would be perfect as a number of characters in the MCU. With J.K. Simmons now playing Jim Gordon for the DCEU, it would be really cool if Marvel got Oldman to play as J. Jonah Jameson Jr. for a future Spider-Man movie.
