Game of Thrones-Style Universe for Disney+ Star Wars Shows Reportedly in the Works

The Mandalorian has proven to be a huge hit for Disney+, showing that it wasn't a complete mistake to sell Star Wars to Disney. While fans still have mixed thoughts about the Disney trilogy, they are looking forward to some of the other Star Wars shows if the success of The Mandalorian is anything to go by. It looks like they have a lot to look forward to since this report from LRM Online claims that there are huge plans for these Star Wars shows.

According to the report, LucasFilm is hoping to build a universe where one central storyline will happen across the different Star Wars shows they have in production, similar to how a House in Game of Thrones reacts to the major plot differently. Rather than have it all in one show, the plan is to spread it across multiple series.

Obviously, The Mandalorian is one of these shows, with the other two expected to be Ahsoka Tano and Boba Fett, or whatever their series end up being called. Either way, it sounds like an exciting time for Star Wars and it looks like these big stories spread across weekly shows could make up for the sins of The Rise of Skywalker.

If you haven't yet, The Mandalorian Season 1 is currently streaming on Disney+. The Mandalorian Season 2 is slated to come out this October.
