We already know that the Night King is coming for everyone in Game of Thrones Season 8. However, it looks like he has his bright blue eyes set on Jon Snow. The man who plays the leader of the White Walkers has just revealed that the final season will have a major Hardhome throwback and it's going to be even scarier this time around.

In Game of Thrones Season 5 Episode 8, Jon, Tormund Giantsbane, and some of the Night's Watch brothers arrived at the wildling village of Hardhome. Although they managed to convince the wildlings to go with them, they are soon attacked by the White Walker army.

The episode is known for the brutal massacre of the wildlings as well as the tense standoff between Jon and the Night King (that eventually became a popular meme). So are we going to see a similar sequence in the final season? Vladamir Furdik says it's happening.

"There's also that moment when Jon Snow was on the boat and the Night King looked at him and raised his arms," Furdik told Entertainment Weekly. "There's a similar and even stronger moment between Jon and the Night King this time."

That's not the only scary thing to look forward to this year. Furdik revealed that the Night King is looking for someone in particular and we will find out who it is right away.

"People will see he has a target he wants to kill, and you will find out who that is," he said.

But what is it exactly that the Night King wants in the final season? Furdik offered some details about his character and his intentions.

"Somebody made him the Night King. Nobody knows who he was before — a soldier or part of [nobility]. He never wanted to be the Night King. I think he wants revenge," he said.

Either way, we're hoping that the Night King stays away from all of our beloved characters. Unfortunately, this is HBO (and George R.R. Martin) so that's not really happening.

Game of Thrones Season 8 airs on HBO on April 14.
