Game of Thrones Season 8 Premiere Date Finally Revealed In Chilling Teaser

The wait is almost over. Game of Thrones Season 8 has been given an official premiere date thanks to a chilling new teaser.

The teaser features Jon Snow, Sansa Stark, and Arya Stark going into the crypts of Winterfell. However, they come across a shocking discovery. All three end up facing their own statues just as a cold blast enters the crypts. Will the Stark children survive?

One of the saddest parts of the teaser is that the feather that Robert Baratheon originally left on Lyanna Stark's statue falls to the ground. Interestingly, it falls just as Jon passes Lyanna's statue. The feather is later enveloped by frost. Could this mean that something will happen to the King in the North in the final season?

The final season is set to be the shortest one in the history of Game of Thrones. Season 8 will only have six episodes. However, each episode is expected to feel like a full-feature film. In addition to that, the eighth season will feature one of the largest battle sequences ever produced on TV or film. This certainly has fans hoping that the show is planning to go out with a huge bang.

The first footage from Season 8 confirmed that Daenerys Targaryen will finally reach Winterfell and meet Jon's siblings (cousins). The sequence is believed to be part of the first few minutes of the final season. Needless to say, we're excited about the show's last hurrah.

Game of Thrones Season 8 will premiere on April 14.
