Game Of Thrones Reunion Special Might Feature Jason Momoa, Sean Bean

Fans have been speculating about Khal Drogo's return in Game of Thrones Season 8. Although it's highly unlikely that Daenerys Targaryen's husband will be back, there's still a chance that Jason Momoa will be part of a Game of Thrones special next year.

According to Entertainment Weekly, HBO has confirmed that a Game of Thrones reunion special was filmed earlier this year. The special, which will be hosted by Conan O'Brien, was reportedly shot in Belfast and brought back several actors who had previously appeared in the series.

The report obviously had people wondering who will show up in the reunion special. There have been speculations that Sean Bean will be back since Ned Stark was a truly important part of the first season. Unfortunately, the other stars have not yet been confirmed. Nevertheless, we're hoping to see Momoa, who was also seen in Belfast earlier in 2018.

The Game of Thrones reunion special is certainly something to look forward to in 2019. However, the report also confirmed that it will not air on HBO. Instead, the special will be an exclusive feature in the complete home video box set that will include everything from Season 1 to the final season.

This is certainly disappointing for viewers who were hoping to see the reunion once Season 8 ends next year. Unfortunately, people will need to wait until after the final season to purchase the box set in order to see the special episode.

Game of Thrones Season 8 is expected to air on HBO by April 2019.
