Game of Thrones: Maisie Williams Reacts to Kit Harington's Jon Snow Spin-Off Series

In case you missed it, another Game of Thrones spin-off is currently in development and this time, it will take place after the events in the final season and follow Jon Snow. Not surprisingly, people are already hyped up for the upcoming series that will bring back Kit Harington as the former King in the North. One of these notable people just happens to be Harington's former co-star Maisie Williams!

Earlier this week, it was reported that Game of Thrones is getting yet another spin-off show. Although the reports indicated that it is still in early development, it was also revealed that Kit Harington will reprise his role as Jon Snow. Since then, George R.R. Martin has confirmed that he will be involved in the new project.

But what do Harington's co-stars think about the project? Emilia Clarke had already shared her thoughts and now Maisie Williams is celebrating the new Game of Thrones series.

"Everything surrounding the story [of Game of Thrones] is very exciting. We had such a rich show, and there's still so much story to tell," Williams told People. She then admitted that she was thrilled to hear the news about the new show.

"I think it's really exciting, and I think that Kit is such a phenomenal actor. Him playing Jon Snow was just like a cultural reset. I think everything that he touches is magic, and I'm excited to see what it's going to be," Williams continued.

It's great to know that Williams is supportive of the Jon Snow series and we're hoping that she returns as Arya Stark in the show as well. In fact, most of the characters who survived in Game of Thrones Season 8 could make an appearance as well.

For now, the Jon Snow series has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
