The prequel for the hit series called the House of the Dragon was announced in 2019 and has only recently completed production in February 2022. The prequel faced many delays, including the pandemic, but we can expect the sequel to also be in production for a relatively long time, especially because it is a big production.

If the sequel picks up from where the first season ended, we can assume that the plot will involve some conflict with the Wildlings. We may also see a storyline where events in Westeros pull Snow back into the kingdom.
