Game of Thrones Star Emilia Clarke Seemingly Confirms Kit Harington's Jon Snow Sequel

While fans are all geared up for the upcoming Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon, which will premiere this August, fans were extremely ecstatic when reports swirled online that HBO will be producing another spinoff based on another Game of Thrones major character, Kit Harington's Jon Snow.

According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter, HBO is currently developing a spinoff that will tell the story of the King of the North, Jon Snow, after the contentious season finale of Game of Thrones. Of course, Kit Harington is set to reprise the role.

Now, Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke — who played Daenerys Targaryen or widely known as the Mother of Dragons seemingly confirmed this rumor. "It's been created by Kit as far as I can understand, so he's in it from the ground up," Clarke said in an interview with BBC. "So what you will be watching, hopefully, if it happens, is certified by Kit Harington."

If we're going to cite reliable sources, who else could we trust more compared to Clarke? Harrington and Clarke played the two most pivotal characters in Game of Thrones, and Clarke would surely be the first to know whether there is any development brewing after the HBO show.

In response to the rumors, HBO Max addressed the Jon Snow spinoff in the wittiest way. Check out HBO Max's Twitter post below:

Although HBO has not yet announced other spinoff projects aside from House of the Dragon, fans are positively thrilled to see Jon Snow again. Alongside Jon, they also expressed interest in seeing other beloved Game of Thrones characters like Maisie William's Arya and Peter Dinklage's Tyrion Lannister.

Nevertheless, fans can still revisit the world of Game of Thrones in the upcoming House of the Dragon, arriving on August 21. Meanwhile, Game of Thrones is available to stream on HBO Max.
