Gal Gadot Thinks Wonder Woman Could Win In A Fight With Superman

Wonder Woman is pretty strong, but could she beat DC's Man of Steel? Gal Gadot thinks the Amazon Princess definitely can.

Speaking in an interview with WBTV Brazil while working on press meetings for the upcoming release of her very first feature film as the DC Extended Universe's Diana Prince, Gadot was asked whether she thinks her character could best Henry Cavill's Superman in a fight. Her answer:

"It would be a tight one, but yes."

Diana and Clark have had a long history together in the DC universe. They've been allies, friends, lovers, and enemies. There have been times where the two were forced to take different sides and fight against each other and while many admire Wonder Woman, casual fans often believe that Superman would win the fight pretty much easily.

However, while Clark Kent is one of the most powerful heroes in DC, he has actually lost a fight to Wonder Woman in one of the Injustice comics before. Superman definitely has the power to beat her in the comic, however he underestimates her passion and her competitive nature. So yes, Diana could beat Superman in a fight, somehow.
