Gal Gadot Shares GIF As Wonder Woman Filming Officially Wraps

Gal Gadot's performance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is undoubtedly one of the most memorable in the movie, a scene-stealing performance that sets the tone for the character's upcoming solo film. Now, the 31-year-old actress is excitedly announcing the end of filming for the promising Wonder Woman movie.

There may have been only bits and pieces of information about Wonder Woman, but Gadot recently shared a GIF via Facebook that marks the end of filming for the Patty Jenkins-directed film.

Gadot captioned her post with something a statement aptly hyping fans for the upcoming film: "It's been such an amazing, exciting, dreamy, happy and fascinating experience. I will cherish it forever."

Take a look:

Wonder Woman is set during World War I. Other than Gadot, the film stars Chris Pine and Robin Wright, among others.

From previous promos, leaked details of new footage from CinemaCon, and Gadot's description of a "dark" movie, I believe Wonder Woman has high potential of being both a commercial and critical success, especially if they follow this advice from Academy Award-winning composer Hans Zimmer. Gadot certainly has good reason to be thankful for the film.

Wonder Woman hits theaters on June 2, 2017.
