There's no denying that Gal Gadot has found a great deal of success playing Wonder Woman in the DC Extended Universe and while Diana Prince's live-action run hasn't been perfect, it's clear that Gadot's modern-day take on the beloved superhero has helped define the character.

As it stands, Gal is expected to reprise her role as Wonder Woman in a number of DCEU projects, including a third solo film directed by Patty Jenkins. However, some fans are hopeful that they'll get to see the Israeli star in a Marvel Cinematic Universe project. Surprisingly enough, she's actually down with the idea but only under one specific condition.

In an interview with Access during D23 Expo, Gadot, who plays the Evil Queen in Disney's live-action Snow White film expressed her desire to appear in an MCU project. But here's the catch, she'll only do it in a crossover project as Wonder Woman.

She said: "Maybe we can do something like, you know, Wonder Woman appears in the Avengers and the Avengers appears in Wonder Woman. We’ll see, I mean I’m open. I’m all about love and I like my friends both in DC and Marvel. So we’ll see."

An Avengers and Justice League crossover sounds extremely promising but I don't see it happening anytime soon. While DC and Marvel have already proven that the "feud" between them is non-existent, both properties are owned by different companies and I think it would take more than just wishful thinking for it to actually happen.

Meanwhile, a third Wonder Woman film is in the works.
