G-Dragon is the subject of new dating rumors after Chinese fans shared “proof” of his reported relationship with the granddaughter of Shinsegae Department Store’s president.
The BIGBANG member has been turning people’s heads because of his visuals and skills since he debuted as an idol. He has been linked to several women in the past years, including Wonder Girls’ Sohee, Kiko Mizuhara, SNSD’s Taeyeon, Nana Komatsu, f(x) late member Sulli, and After School’s Jooyeon.
He and BLACKPINK Jennie also sparked a dating buzz before the female idol got linked to BTS V.
This time, the That XX rapper got involved in a new rumor.

Is G-Dragon Dating Someone?
Chinese online communities, as reported by a news outlet, recently claimed that the BIGBANG leader might be dating the granddaughter of the Shinsegae Department Store franchise president.
The talks started on Jan. 9 when fans talked about seeing G-Dragon in a Street Man Fighter concert in Seoul. Concertgoers said he attended the show to support the members of YGX.

A woman who reportedly attended the concert with G-Dragon shared photos from the concert and uploaded them on her social media accounts. Unnamed sources said the woman is seemingly the granddaughter of the Shinsegae Department Store president.
One of the photos the woman posted includes a hand with a smile face tattoo, which is believed to be G-Dragon’s.
This, however, should be taken with a grain of salt as no confirmation has been released yet. YG Entertainment has not addressed the new rumor, as well.
G-Dragon Reveals He Is Working on New Album
Amid the dating rumors, G-Dragon hyped fans on New Year’s day with a surprise video in which he revealed he started doing his new album.
“I plan on meeting you guys through various activities,” he said. “I’m preparing an album too. I’ll make sure to bring some good news to you guys in the new year.”
It will follow his 2017 EP, Kwon Ji Yong. It will also mark his first album since Taeyang and Daesung both left YG Entertainment.
