The Frieren anime is going on a short hiatus after this week’s episode, but fans will at least be treated to a new release that’s sure to delight. That’s because the first Frieren soundtrack is available now in Japan on various streaming platforms as well as digital retailers.
This new soundtrack was revealed on the anime’s official social media pages. It was also promoted online by its composer, Evan Call.
Frieren Pre-Release Soundtrack Track List Revealed
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is one of the most popular shows of the Fall 23 season thanks to its touching story, beautiful visuals, and memorable characters.
One of the best parts about the anime is its soundtrack, which is composed by Evan Call, the notable music composer of other popular titles like Violet Evergarden and My Happy Marriage.
Just in time for the anime’s week-long hiatus, the first Frieren soundtrack is finally available in Japan right now. This isn’t the complete soundtrack for the anime, though. Instead, it’s called a pre-release soundtrack.
Here's the complete track list of the initial soundtrack:
- Journey of a Lifetime - Frieren Main Theme
- The End of One Journey
- A Well-Earned Celebration
- For 1000 Years
- One Last Adventure
- Farewell, My Friend
- Departures
- Time Flows Ever Onward
- Grassy Turtles and Seed Rats
- Where the Blue-Moon Weed Grows
- Fear Brought Me This Far
- Zoltraak
These tracks were played in the earlier episodes of the series. A similar release strategy happened with Chainsaw Man last year, which got multiple soundtrack EP releases before the complete soundtrack was made available.
