Fallout has a lot of big-name stars, both in main roles and surprise cameos. With the show now streaming, some are wondering who Fred Armisen plays in the new Fallout TV series.
As he’s a popular actor and comedian, lots of fans are keenly looking out for him while watching the show. He’s not the only notable star to make a cameo though as there are many other well-known comedians.

Prime Video’s Fallout Features Lots of Cameos
The new Fallout series on Prime Video is a star-studded series as it features the likes of Ella Purnell, Kyle MacLachlan, and Watler Goggins. On top of its cast, the show is produced by Jonathan Nolan (of Westworld fame).
Joining the show’s main stars are a wide array of notable actors and comedians who play small yet important roles.
For instance, there’s Matt Berry, the popular British comedian who is best known for his roles in The IT Crowd and What We Do in the Shadows. In the show, Berry plays three characters: Mr. Handy, Snip Snip, and Sebastian Leslie.
There’s also Chris Parnell, a Saturday Night Live alumnus who has also become a notable voice actor in shows like Archer and Rick and Morty. For Fallout, Parnell plays Ben, the Vault 4 Overseer.

Who Does Fred Armisen Play in Fallout?
Fred Armisen is another SNL alumnus who is part of the Fallout cast. Armisen is a frequent guest star in many comedy shows, so it’s a bit of a surprise to see him appear in a more dramatic series.
In the show, Armisen plays the role of DJ Carl. As a radio DJ, Armisen can be heard in the show’s earlier episodes, though fans can see him make a proper appearance in the show’s seventh episode.

Is DJ Carl in the Fallout Video Game Series?
Given that the Fallout series is canon in the game universe, some fans are wondering if DJ Carl is a character from the games.
In the games, there are many radio DJs that players can hear and encounter, though Carl isn’t among them. Thus, DJ Carl is a show-only character.
