Laurie Kynaston is a hidden gem of Welsh TV and film, best known for his brief roles in The Feed as Jonah Green, in the 2021 drama Muse playing the 'bright young photographer' George, and most recently, played the role of Millais in The Doll Factory.

Kynaston is also set to star in an upcoming Netflix 'whodunit' series, but before we get into that, the actor had already made his Netflix debut by playing Alex Burgess in Neil Gaiman's The Sandman adaptation.

Not to mention, he previously starred in a Disney+ series called A Small Light, and the CBS series The Man Who Fell To Earth.

Throughout his career, the Welsh actor has also gained acclaimed awards such as the West End transfer of The Son, where he won the Evening Standard Award for Emerging Talent. In 2018, he was named a Screen International Star of Tomorrow.

2024 has something bigger in store for the career of Laurie Kynaston, though and that is Fool Me Once.

What is Fool Me Once About?

In the newest Netflix series, Fool Me Once, Laurie Kynaston stars as Corey Rudzinki, the man running a whistleblowing organization on the show.

His character made a brief appearance in the trailer, which seemingly suggests he's one of the bad guys who eventually fessed up and told the truth behind Maya Stern's (played by Michelle Keegan) husband. The question is, will Corey become a friend or foe?

According to Netflix Tudum, the official synopsis for Fool Me Once reads:

A newly single mom is grieving her husband when, just two weeks after his funeral, she sees him appearing alive and well — on her nanny cam. Was he actually murdered? Or are there darker powers at play? Fool Me Once, created by bestselling author Harlan Coben, was directed by BAFTA Award winner David Moore (Outlander, The Last Kingdom) and adapted to series by writer Danny Brocklehurst (Brassic, Come Home).

All eight episodes of Fool Me Once are available to stream on Netflix!
