Avatar: The Last Airbender will come down as one of the greatest animated series of all time, and it's thanks to head writer Aaron Ehasz. Netflix has just recently announced that Ehasz was working on a series with them and thanks to SDCC 2018, we have our first teaser for The Dragon Prince.
Two human princes forge an unlikely bond with the elfin assassin sent to kill them, embarking on an epic quest to bring peace to their warring lands.
A lot of people are admittedly disappointed in the choice for animation, but granted Ehasz's reputation for working on Avatar, a lot of fans are eager to check the series out. Hopefully they manage to brush upon the final product when it comes out in September. A lot of people are wondering why the frame rate is so off with this trailer.
Also a fun tidbit, Jack DeSena, who plays Sokka in Last Airbender is also playing one of the leads in this series. That's definitely enough for me to at least check it out. Avatar just had the best writing with both the overall arc and lines within episodes. Hopefully this series manages to live up to Ehasz's reputation.
