First Poster For M. Night Shyamalan's Glass Teases Major Character Twists

Director M. Night Shyamalan has revealed the first poster for Glass, the sequel to Unbreakable and Split that unites the characters from those films.

Over on Twitter, Shyamalan shared the image featuring the film's three main characters side-by-side: David Dunn (Bruce Willis), Mr. Glass (Samuel L. Jackson), and Kevin Wendell Crumb/The Beast (James McAvoy). Here's the image:

It looks like all three characters are in a hospital or an asylum with the garb they're wearing.

Glass picks up right where Split, the McAvoy-led horror thriller left off. In this sequel, Dunn is chasing after Kevin's superhuman figure The Beast "in a series of escalating encounters." Meanwhile, Mr. Glass, who "holds secrets critical to both men," suddenly shows up.

The director also announced that his superhero thriller film will have a Hall H panel featuring the cast at this year's San Diego Comic-Con on July 20.

Glass is set to release in theaters on January 18, 2019.
