If you're looking for great horror films to watch this Halloween season, James Gunn has shared a list of his 50 favorite horror films on his Facebook page. The filmmaker may be best known for writing and directing Marvel's two Guardians of the Galaxy films, but he started his career working on horror films like Dawn of the Dead (2004) and Slither (2006) and The Belko Experiment (2016), so you can consider his tastes for horror credible.

"I should note, as usual, this is my list of FAVORITES," Gunn writes "It does not mean these are the BEST. They are simply the horror films I get the most out of personally."

There's something for everybody in this list that incudes Korean favorites like The Host and Train to Busan; horror comedies like Zombieland and Get Out; Alien movies, and more. However, I'm a bit sad that I don't see It Follows and the latest adaptation of Stephen King's IT in this list. And I hope Gunn will eventually add the newly-released Happy Death Day in this list.
