First Official Marvel Super Hero Land Details Revealed

After years of waiting, Disneyland has finally released the first few details of the upcoming Marvel Super Hero Land, which will be a part of the establishment's resort. Fans have been waiting for this since Disney purchased Marvel all those years ago. Considering how a zone based on Star Wars was announced not too long ago, this was the next thing fans were anticipating.

Construction on the site has already been underway, with Disney stating that the first phase of Marvel Super Hero Land is slated for a 2020 release. The former It's Tough to be a Bug theater is now being repurposed as a Spider-Man attraction that will give audiences web shooters so that they can participate in the ride. This will likely be a 3D screen-based ride, similar to Toy Story Midway Mania.

Interestingly enough, the Spider-Man ride will lead audiences to a hub centered around the Avengers. This is where a number of the land's offerings will be, including an Ant-Man-themed brewery. All of this eventually leads to the big attraction that was announced a while ago: Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission Breakout.

Fans have been hearing about this ride for some time so it will finally be cool to ride it in a few years. It looks like all that controversy surrounding James Gunn and the third Guardians of the Galaxy movie won't stop Disney from working on this.
