First Look At Star Wars The Last Jedi Figures

Star Wars and merchandising are two things that go hand-in-hand, and with the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi getting closer by the day, we got some first looks at some incoming figures from TLJ; they include Finn, Rey, and Kylo in their new looks plus new character Rose and her sister Paige.

It's disappointing that we still don't have a figure of an older Luke Skywalker. Force Awakens was two years ago, and we still don't have a decent figure of Old Man Luke. I have a feeling that if we got a figure of Luke, some part of his costume would give something away. Then again, maybe Hasbro just wanted to keep the focus on the new heroes of the trilogy.

Another takeaway here is that C-3PO definitely did get his red arm replaced by the end of TFA. I just think it's weird that 3-PO had to get his red arm in the first place. I mean, there was a really good reason he had it in the expanded universe, and the arm being "fixed" in the new trilogy just kind of undermines why 3-PO kept the arm.

Expect a lot more figures to come to the line in the future. We still have some new elite stormtroopers to look forward to, and there's also Snoke's upgraded Praetorian guards.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi comes out Dec. 15.
