It's certainly different from Jasmine's trademark blue outfit in the animated classic. Nevertheless, it makes Scott look like royalty indeed.

Scott also addressed one major difference in the Guy Ritchie film. Although Jasmine originally had a pet tiger named Rajah, the live-action adaptation had swapped out the furry bodyguard in favor of a handmaiden named Dalia. However, Scott pointed out that the character played by Nasim Pedrad plays an important role in balancing Jasmine out.

"Aladdin has the Genie and Jasmine has Dalia, and there's this older-sister kind of relationship that they have, where Dalia cares so much for Jasmine. She's very different, she sees the world differently, but she absolutely loves her and adores her, and I feel like that's the sort of relationship that all of us women have, those girls that we can point to and say, 'That's someone I have that relationship with,' in our lives."

It's certainly sad that we won't be seeing Scott's Jasmine hanging out with a tiger but we're still looking forward to how the princess' relationship with her handmaiden will work in Aladdin.

The film also stars Will Smith as the Genie, Mena Massoud as Aladdin, and Marwan Kenzari as the surprisingly good-looking Jafar.

Aladdin will hit theaters on May 24, 2019.
