Entertainment Weekly just released a new set of photos taken from the set of Disney's live-action remake of Aladdin today, and it looks like the images have been leaving fans with a whole lot of concern. However, while fans have been busy questioning Disney's choices in the character design of Will Smith's Genie and the costume design of Mena Massoud's Aladdin, they also can't help but notice just how attractive Marwan Kenzari's Jafar is.
Inside the pages of Entertainment Weekly's newest issue the first look images of all the different characters of Disney's new Aladdin, and one of the pictures features Kenzari's Jafar. Richly adorned and attractive, fans can't help but notice just how hot the live-action villain is, comparing him to Massoud's Aladdin who doesn't look anywhere near as handsome as Jafar.
Kenzari's attractiveness now has fans rooting for Jafar instead of the hero, hoping the villain gets the upper hand and wins Naomi Scott's Jasmine over. Sure, Aladdin seems cute and all, but who in their right minds would pick a street urchin over sizzling hot royalty?
Check out the posts that fans have been making on Twitter:
The live-action Jafar looks nothing like the old and sleazy villain that fans have hated ever since the release of the original animated Aladdin movie, and now Kenzari has everyone questioning their childhoods.
It's definitely going to be interesting seeing Aladdin play out on the big screen, and we can't wait to see how fans react to the full movie.
Aladdin premieres May 24, 2019.
