First Look At Jon Cryer As Lex Luthor In Supergirl Season 4

Lex Luthor is finally coming to National City. The CW has just unveiled the first look at Jon Cryer as the infamous DC comic book villain in Supergirl Season 4.

Fans were previously delighted when it was announced that the Two And A Half Men star has been cast as Lex in the series. After all, Cryer is a talented actor who can take on just about any role. But will he go bald to play Superman's archnemesis? Of course, he did and it's glorious. Take a look at the image below.

Lex has always been a part of Supergirl from the start. Although the character was always referenced in the series, he has yet to show up and ruin everything for his mother Lillian and sister Lena. So how exactly will Lex suddenly pop up in the show? The synopsis for an upcoming episode may have a clue (via Deadline).

The description for the Supergirl Season 4 episode Oh Brother, Where Art Thou reads as follows:

"Lex Luthor reaches out from prison to enlist Lena (Katie McGrath) into one of his plans and will stop at nothing to get her on board, even if that means leveraging the life of one of her friends."

Ah, classic Lex. You can always count on him to be up to no good. Could this plan have something to do with Superman? Something tells us that Cryer will be dipping into his own past and actually go for a major prison break.

Cryer had previously played Lex's nephew Lenny Luthor in Superman IV: The Quest for Peace where he actually broke Gene Hackman's Lex out of prison. Will his version of Lex convince Lena to help him out of jail? We'll have to wait until March to find out.

Cryer will debut in the Supergirl Season 4 episode Oh Brother, Where Art Thou, which airs on The CW on March 17.
