Final Fantasy XV New Update Content Revealed, Hints for Next Game Sighted

Square Enix has revealed a few of the features that the development team is planning to roll out for Final Fantasy XV. The new update is quite on the light side, but it's still worth noting, especially for fans of Ignis.

The patch notes (translated by Gematsu) can be seen below, and these changes are expected to roll out in the game on May 24:

> Stinky Tofu with a Mellow Flavor" has been added to Ignis' cuisine (following a Taiwan survey
> The winning photograph in the 2nd Snapshot Contest is displayed at the restaurant in Hammerhead
> A survey regarding future updates has been added to the title screen (though this survey will end in late June)
> Fixed a bug that would forcibly close the game when on the Timed Quest rankings screen
> Fixed various bugs

From the looks of it, Square Enix is still actively seeking feedback from players on how to improve the game. However, a new job sighting (via DualShockers) seems to be implying a hunt for the development team for the next Final Fantasy title.

According to the report, there's a new ad was released via ECareerFA in Japan. Granted, the company that sent out the ad remained anonymous but the source spotted a few telling signs pointing to Square Enix, starting with the fact that the company supposedly has an amusement business based on Taito Station arcades, as well as an office based in Tokyo near the Higashi-Shinjuku station of the Oedo Line and Fukutoshin line.

That aside, the job ad is looking for a 2D artist for a "super famous RPG series." This artist will be tasked with creating the image of the numbered title, working on concept arts of the game's world, and doing the vehicles, weapons, items, and map icons.

It's nice to see that Square Enix is taking that extra step to ensure that it delivers a kickass game by preparing for Final Fantasy XV's successor while the game still has a few more updates to come. We'll be on the lookout for more updates for Square Enix's latest title in the FF franchise.
