Final Fantasy XV Judgment Disc Demo Launches in Japan

Judgment for the Final Fantasy XV is coming—and it's in the form of a demo for the game aptly called "Judgment Disc."

Square Enix announced that the demo is heading to Japan's respective PlayStation and Xbox stores. The developer announced (via DualShockers) that the demo will be exclusive for Japan in the meantime. There has been no western release hinted, so this really may be the case.

According to the report, the Judgment Disc will include the opening and the first half of the first chapter. Since it is a demo, don't expect any save data carrying over the full game. Still, for those who do have access, or those who have a Japanese PSN account, you can enjoy around an hour and a half of play time. Clear the game, and you even stand a chance to see bonus footage that is not yet available to the public.

The developer also seems to have some updates regarding the plans for the PS4 Pro support for Final Fantasy XV. According to Gematsu, Square Enix will roll out an update that will contain support for both the 4K and HDR components of the game. For the PS4 Pro, there will also be an update in December, which will bump up the support for up to 1080p and 60DPS when playing the game on HDTV.

Final Fantasy XV will be out on the PS4 and Xbox One on Nov. 29.
