Final Fantasy XV DLC Delayed Because of The Power Rangers

Final Fantasy XV gamers are expecting a lot this year after game director Hajime Tabata confirmed back in December that he and his team of developers would be adding in storylines, modes and all sorts of content in new DLCs for the critically acclaimed Final Fantasy installment. However, new reports reveal that this year's big Final Fantasy XV DLC release might see delay, and all because of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

According to Forbes, a week after Square Enix revealed that Final Fantasy XV would get a Megitek Exosuit DLC, Tabata and marketing manager Akio Ofuji went on to announce that the Magitek Exosuits for Noctis, Ignis, Gladiolus and Prompto would have to be reworked due to similarities with the suits featured in the upcoming Power Rangers film.

This of course will lead to a delay in the Magitek Exosuits DLC, the highly anticipated new content for Final Fantasy XV. Though there's still no report on when exactly will the DLC be delayed to, we're sure that Tabata will come with a quick solution and produce a better design for the Exosuits. Fans just have to stretch their patience a bit further for the DLC.

Final Fantasy XV is available for PS4 and Xbox One.
