Final Fantasy VII Remake Will Not Be Released Early on PSN Despite Fan Demand

Final Fantasy VII Remake is coming out this week and though many are excited to get their copy, others are peeved over how Australia and Europe got to get their copies early. Some fans even asked Square Enix why they wouldn't just release the digital copy early since that would let fans around the world play it already. The company has a decent reply for those who are really impatient.

On the support page of Square Enix, the company addressed not releasing Final Fantasy VII Remake early for digital buyers, stating that it could create logistical problems for the title at launch. Because of this, they decided to stick with the April 10 release date and we're sure most people won't mind them. Just stay off Reddit or you'll get spoiled (which seems to have been the case for many).

While we understand the frustration of seeing the game for sale in some locations, the bulk of our shipments to retailers around the globe are still scheduled to arrive in stores for our April 10 street date. Also, changing the digital release date at this point-in-time could lead to logistical issues that could disrupt the digital launch for everyone. Therefore, we will be adhering to an April 10 digital release date. Thank you for your understanding.

Also, don't search for Final Fantasy VII on Twitter. Seriously, why are so many people having a hard time grasping this?

We all know Final Fantasy VII Remake is going to be worth it, thanks to all those beautiful trailers and some early reviews that have made it to the public. Final Fantasy VII Remake is officially coming to the PS4 on April 10 so get your wallet ready.
