There's currently no release date for The Brave and the Bold, although Superman: Legacy (2025), which also forms part of the new DC Universe, was recently given the release date of July 11, 2025. But never mind, because now, there's a trailer for the upcoming Batman film! Well, sort of.

Screen Culture, known for its sometimes-impressive fan-made trailers, has released a brand-new fan-made trailer for DC's The Brave and the Bold, with none other than Jamie Dornan of Fifty Shades of Grey fame as Bruce Wayne/Batman himself.

Check out the video below:

Oddly enough, we very recently fan-cast Jamie Dornan as the Dark Knight ourselves! As you can see, the trailer uses footage from the Fifty Shades of Grey films (no, not that kind of footage) to showcase what it would be like to see Jamie Dornan as billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne.

If you wish to imagine what it would be like to see Dornan as Batman, though, check out the brilliant BBC thriller series The Fall (2011), which stars the Irish actor and Gillian Anderson. While Dornan plays a sadistic serial killer, he also dresses all in black while doing parkour around the streets of Belfast by night.

While seeing Dornan become Batman may never happen, never say never. As it stands, an actor has yet to be cast as the caped crusader in DC's upcoming The Brave and the Bold, and for all we know, it may very well end up being Dornan. For now, we have plenty of versions of Batman to keep us entertained.

Michael Keaton will soon be reprising his role as the Gotham crime-fighter from the two Tim Burton Batman films in the DCU film The Flash (2023), while Ben Affleck will also don the cape and cowl once again in the very same film. You can check out the awesome trailer below:
