FIFTY FIFTY scored another first after the girl group topped the British Official Singles Chart.
The four-piece K-pop girl group, composed of Saena, Aran, Sio, and Keena, debuted in November 2022. It has since released two albums, an EP, The Beginning of Cloud and a single album, The Beginning: Cupid.
Following the release of the now-viral song Cupid, FIFTY FIFTY officially set a new record as it secured the No. 1 spot on the British Official Singles Chart.

FIFTY FIFTY Ranks 1st on Top 10 of British Official Singles Chart
From No. 9 last week, FIFTY FIFTY officially appeared on the top spot of the British Official Singles Chart's top 10, the latest chart showed Friday.
FIFTY FIFTY's Cupid first entered the chart at No. 96. Due to the song's popularity on social media sites, including TikTok, it ranked up to No. 61, No. 34, No. 26, and No. 18 before scoring ninth and first places within a week.

The new milestone made the girl group the first one to dominate the British Official Singles Chart Top 10.
"The Attrakt-formed band ― comprising Saena, Aran, Keena and Sio ― boast something yet to be achieved by such K-pop girl groups as BLACKPINK, NewJeans and TWICE as viral hit Cupid breaks the Top 10 to claim a new No. 9 peak today," the British Official Singles Chart said. "Cupid's success proves the genre's ever-growing popularity in the UK."
FIFTY FIFTY officially surpassed the record made by BLACKPINK. The YG Entertainment girl group appeared on the chart at No. 17 with its collaboration single with Lady Gaga, Sour Candy.
Meanwhile, FIFTY FIFTY still appears on Spotify's Viral 50 Global playlist since March.
FIFTY FIFTY's Success Continues
Aside from the British Official Singles Chart, FIFTY FIFTY also reached the highest mark for any K-pop act on YouTube Music Charts.
For the April 28 to May 4 week, FIFTY FIFTY's Cupid ranked fourth after scoring 40 million views. The ranking became the highest place a K-pop act has achieved so far.
The song also appears on the No. 1 spot of the chart's K-pop chart, with BLACKPINK Jisoo's Flower and LE SSERAFIM's Unforgiven appearing next.
