Lee Dong Wook will lead The Killer’s Shopping List spin-off series, The Killer’s Shopping Mall, alongside actress Kim Hye Joon.
The Killer’s Shopping Mall will follow the story of The Killer’s Shopping List, which is based on Kang Ji Young’s novel of the same name. It is a comedy-mystery thriller that tells the story of a murder case on the outskirts of Seoul. A supermarket receipt becomes evidence when a murdered body is found near an apartment building.

Lee Dong Wook, Kim Hye Joon To Take on Lead Roles
On Tuesday, Disney+ (via Xports News) confirmed the lineup of cast members who would appear in the upcoming Kdrama series.
In the spinoff, Lee Dong Wook will play the role of uncle Jung Jin Man. He runs a suspicious shopping mall as he takes care of his niece, whose parents already died. Meanwhile, Kim Hye Joon will play the niece’s role, Jung Ji An.

The story begins with Jung Jin Man’s unexpected death, leading Jung Ji An to sort his belongings, during which she finds a notebook. She soon discovers that her late uncle used to sell swords, jackknives, and butcher knives before seeing the e-commerce market full of information regarding the items.
The Killer’s Shopping Mall will reportedly be released in 2024.
“We are excited to see the never-before-seen synergy between Lee and Kim, who join hands to work in a drama series for the first time,” Disney+ said in the press release, per The Korea Herald.
Park Ji Bin Joins Cast Members
Apart from the two lead stars, The Killer’s Shopping List actor Park Ji Bin will also appear in the series. Previously, he appeared in the tvN series and played the role of Saeng Sun, an MS Mart employee who works in the seafood section.
He appeared along with Lee Kwang Soo, AOA Seolhyun, Jin Hee Kyung, Shin Sung Woo, Lee Gyo Yeop, Oh Hye Won, Kim Mi Hwa, Lee Yoon Hee, Bae Myung Jin, Jo Aram, and Moon Hee Kyung.
