Marvel Studios has yet to announce the cast for its Fantastic Four reboot but the rumor mill continues to spin. Over the last couple of months, several names, from A-list stars to relatively unknown actors have surfaced as rumored hopefuls for the project but as it stands, nothing has officially been set in stone.

Just recently, it was reported that Elvis star Austin Butler has begun his campaign to become part of the highly anticipated project and that he's eyeing the Johnny Storm/Human Torch role. According to The Hot Mic podcast's Jeff Sneider, Butler's agents are quite adamant about getting him in the MCU. Interestingly, the breakout star is among the list of actors fans have been dying to see in a comic book project.

Well, it turns out that the 31-year-old actor already has the seal of approval from fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Instagram artist @clements.ink recently shared a "fantastic" (pun may or may not be intended) artwork depicting him as the spunky member of Marvel's First Family and I gotta say, it totally works! We're still over two years away from the release of Fantastic Four and while fans are growing increasingly impatient with the lack of updates from the studio, we can safely say that Feige and the creatives behind the reboot are biding their time before making the monumental announcement.

I'm guessing 2023 will finally be the year but who knows? One thing's for certain, the MCU will handle the First Family much better.

Marvel Studios' Fantastic Four reboot is slated for theatrical release on February 14, 2025.
