Netflix has released a new trailer for Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2, and it features more faeries, magic, and romance. The popular coming-of-age fantasy series based on the Nickelodeon animated series Winx Club originally premiered its first season on Netflix in January 2021.
The YA fantasy centers on Bloom (played by Abigail Cowen), a 16-year-old changeling fire fairy who arrives in the Otherworld to join Alfea, the magical school for faeries. Bloom learns that everything she knew about her family isn't true, leading her on a quest to find out who her true parents are, and where she came from.
The Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 trailer teases what to expect after the downfall of Alfea's old regime, and it looks like Bloom is stronger than ever as we see her unleash more powerful fire magic against her enemies. There's a lot of elemental magic spectacle and steamy teenage romance in the upcoming season. It looks like the new season will also feature the girls' epic transformation sequence.
We also get a glimpse of newcomer Paulina Chávez as Flora, the fairy of nature from the planet Lynphea that draws her power from plants. In the animated series, her friends rely on her for potions and magic advice. Many fans already think that Season 2 is looking more like the Winx Club, so if you're fan of the animated series, expect a lot of exciting things for the upcoming season.
