Remember Abigail Cowen's role in Stranger Things? Well, she just had a few lines but that is the exact moment when she realized that she want to pursue acting and led her to bagging the headline of Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 as Bloom.
For two seasons, Abigail Cowen plays the role of Bloom in Fate: The Winx Saga and in an interview with Collider, Cowen shared how small steps led her to land a major role in a series. It all started with her Stranger Things stint with only a few lines to playing a supporting character in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
Cowen said, during an episode of Collider Ladies Night, "I do remember the feeling of, ‘I need to really pursue my dreams,’ was when I was on the set of Stranger Things."
Cowen added, "I had a really tiny little roll with a couple lines and I was driving I think back from a fitting and I remember just having this overwhelming feeling — because I was living in Florida at the time. I was like, I need to do this for the rest of my life."
Abigail Cowen played Vicki Charmichael in two episodes of Stranger Things, before landing her supporting role as Dorcas Night in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. She finally got her own headline in Fate: The Winx Saga.
Fate: The Winx Saga is based on Winx Club, an animated series on Nickelodeon, following fairies with powers undergoing training at Alfea, a magical boarding school located in the Otherworld. Bloom has four other roommates: Stella, Aisha, Terra, and Musa.
Bloom is a fire fairy who later discovers that she is a changeling, Stella is a light fairy and also the princess of Solaria, Aisha is a water fairy, Terra is an earth fairy, and Musa is a mind fairy.
Over the weekend, Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 dropped with the continuation of where the first season ended after the Burned Ones pursued Alfea and new faces enter the college that will shake things up inside the campus. There has been no news yet about Season 3.
Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 is now streaming on Netflix.
