The rumor mill just can't stop spinning for Marvel Studios' Fantastic Four reboot and with the lack of updates from the people involved in the project, fans are beginning to grow increasingly impatient and frustrated. Previously, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige stated that no casting announcements will take place until director Matt Shakman and his team of writers have completed the film's script.
Still, that hasn't stopped several outlets from speculating which actors will make up the Marvel Cinematic Universe's "First Family". Just recently, another name has been added to the list of actors rumored to be joining the project.
Glenn Howerton of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia fame admitted in an interview with The Movie Dweeb that he'd accept the role in a heartbeat should he get an offer. The only problem is, he says he's yet to get a call from the studio.
Following his major admission, Instagram artist @subi.ozil took matters into his own hands and transformed the 46-year-old actor into Earth-616's Smartest Man Alive. He certainly has that Reed Richards look, I'll give him that. Check out the awesome image below:

Howerton joins names like Penn Badgley, Diego Luna, and Adam Driver on the growing list of potential actors that could join the long-awaited reboot. Personally, I don't think Glenn will make the cut simply because he's already in his 40s, and considering Marvel Studios will be starting on a clean slate, the most logical creative decision is for them to cast actors who are much younger.
That's not to say though that Howerton won't have a place in the MCU, especially with Matt Shakman being his good friend and collaborator.
Marvel Studios' Fantastic Four is slated to hit cinemas on February 14, 2026.
