Fantastic Four Reboot Reportedly Adds Jennifer Lawrence

The Marvel Cinematic Universe could be adding another A-lister to its already impressive roster. A new report reveals that Jennifer Lawrence could be joining the MCU's Fantastic Four reboot.

It has only been a few months since Marvel Studios confirmed that the Fantastic Four will star in their own reboot film. Although it was announced that Spider-Man 3 director Jon Watts will helm the standalone flick, the cast has not yet been revealed. But has Marvel chosen an Oscar winner to join the MCU flick?

The Daily Telegraph (via The Daily Mail) reports that several Hollywood projects will begin filming in Australia next month. One of these projects just happens to be the Fantastic Four reboot, which has now included Lawrence in its cast.

This is interesting news considering that the Fantastic Four reboot is still in development and no other cast members have been announced so far. In addition to that, Watts is still working on the third Spider-Man film in Atlanta and the project is not even close to completion. With that in mind, it's best to take this with a grain of salt.

But who will Lawrence portray in the Fantastic Four reboot, if she has been cast in the film? The obvious choice is Sue Storm aka Invisible Woman. With that in mind, we're looking forward to finding out who will play Reed Richards aka Mister Fantastic and even Doctor Doom in the movie.

We're loving the idea of an Oscar winner playing one of the most powerful women in the MCU. However, it's important to point out that the casting has not yet been officially announced. Perhaps we'll get more updates on the project in the next few weeks.

What do you think of Jennifer Lawrence possibly joining the MCU? Sound off in the comments below.
