Kevin Feige Confirms Marvel Already Has MCU Phase 5 All Planned Out

It's always best to look ahead into the future and that's exactly what Marvel Studios is already doing. Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has just admitted that they are already preparing for the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and it looks like Phase 5 is already being planned out.

Feige recently spoke to Collider where he dropped some interesting new details about the MCU. For instance, he revealed that they are already discussing how to introduce the X-Men into the films. In addition to that, Feige admitted that their plans for the future of the MCU are a lot further than what has already been confirmed.

"To varying degrees of specificity, it's always about 5 to 6 years out versus what we've announced. So whatever that takes us to," Feige said. This probably means that there are already releases being planned for around 2026 to 2027. With that in mind, it sounds like Phase 5 of the MCU is already in place.

So far, the confirmed MCU projects are expected to drop between this year and 2022. There's a possibility that we'll see the Fantastic Four reboot by 2023. However, we still have no clue as to what Marvel is planning beyond that. Nevertheless, we're looking forward to more updates from Feige soon.

We might be in the dark when it comes to the future of the MCU but we're hyped up about the idea that we're finally getting some Marvel content this Friday. WandaVision is set to premiere on Disney+ on January 15.
