Daisy Ridley generated quite the buzz in 2022, three years after Star Wars closed the chapter on the divisive sequel trilogy. From her surprising decision to return to social media following a six-year hiatus to teasing plans about her Hollywood future, the 30-year-old actress has undeniably kept her fans glued on what she's been up to as of late.
Yesterday, Daisy once again set the internet ablaze after she took to her Instagram story update and posted a no-context statue of Master Yoda. Here's the catch though, it's not just any Yoda statue and what she posted was actually the one located inside Lucasfilm headquarters in San Francisco, California.
Naturally, it fueled speculation that the Rey Skywalker actress met with the production company, presumably to discuss her inevitable return to a galaxy far, far away. It's also worth mentioning that several insiders have claimed that the actress is set to make her grand comeback to the franchise which pretty much made her a household name in the industry. Interestingly, Daisy's Lucasfilm visit comes on the heels of Damon Lindelof and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy's confirmation that their upcoming film takes place following the sequel trilogy. Of course, there's still a good chance that it will be centered on an entirely new story with new sets of characters.
However, it would make sense for Star Wars' grand return to the big screen to pick up where The Rise of Skywalker left off. Well, that's just me.
