Fan Designs Cool Western-Themed Poster For Obi-Wan Spinoff Movie

Star Wars is more alive than ever, and we'll be getting an announcement on the next spinoff movie anytime now. One particular spinoff that a lot of fans are looking forward to is the Obi-Wan standalone film, and fan Tom Lathom-Sharp has come up with a cool spaghetti-western type poster for the movie.

Check it out:

I love the look of the main villain in the poster and it could easily pass off as an updated look for Cad Bane from the Clone Wars series. It's also a fun choice to have George Miller as the director of the film. With Mad Max: Fury Road such a huge success, Miller might actually give us one colorful Obi-Wan movie.

As of now, we still know very little about Lucasfilm's next anthology movie. There's a chance that it could be the Boba Fett ensemble movie, since it was supposed to release next year before Josh Trank got fired. Then again, a lot of fans have been wanting to see Obi-Wan come back, and actor Ewan McGregor is just waiting for Lucasfilm to call.

For now, the only thing we fans can do is wait. Hopefully Lucasfilm picks the right director for the job. The whole fiasco with Miller and Lord getting fired from the Han Solo movie is not making the film look good.

The next upcoming standalone is the Han Solo movie, and it's slated to come out May 25, 2018.
