We already know that Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man are the Big Three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, it looks like The Falcon and The Winter Soldier has a completely new Big Three to introduce this month.
The latest TV spot for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier opens with Sam Wilson talking about the new baddie who will appear in the MCU series. Interestingly, Sam points out that the villains are very strong and might be a part of the Big Three.
Bucky Barnes is completely clueless as to what Sam is talking about. Luckily, Sam quickly explains, "Androids, aliens, and wizards."
Bucky is unconvinced. "That's not a thing," he says but Sam insists that it is. Nevertheless, Bucky retaliates by saying that there are no wizards.
"Doctor Strange," Sam rebutted. "He's a sorcerer," Bucky answers but Sam refuses to back down. "A sorcerer is a wizard without a hat," he declares.
We'll have to agree with Sam on the Big Three is a thing. After all, the MCU has proven that androids, aliens, and wizards (or sorcerers or witches) are some of the most powerful entities that we can encounter.
Although it's unlikely that the new villains, who go by the name the Flag-Smashers, are any of the three, there is little doubt we'll get to see more of these little arguments between Sam and Bucky in the show.
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Emily VanCamp, Daniel Bruhl, Wyatt Russell, and Erin Kellyman. The series will premiere on Disney+ on March 19.
