Webheads have been demanding Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures release the first official trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home and after months of "pestering" the studios for content, fans could end up getting their wishes fulfilled. It's being rumored that our first taste of No Way Home will come this week and while no official word has been given, but Sony's recent social media activity led a lot of people to assume that something's coming.
According to DisInsider's Skyle Shuler, a friend of his who presumably works at either Sony or Marvel Studios dropped him hints that the trailer will premiere sometime this week. Shuler posted their conversation on Twitter and while the date wasn't specified, it's worth mentioning that Tom Holland will be celebrating his 25th birthday on June 1st which would be the perfect opportunity to release some much-needed content.
Speaking of teasers, a fanmade trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home surfaced all over social media during the weekend and it had a lot of fans fooled. The said "trailer" features alleged scenes from the upcoming film but as it turns out, they were just clips from several films (MCU and non-MCU) all jammed together and edited impressively to make it seem legit. The creator even went as far as giving it a camcorder treatment to make it look more believable. Check it out here:
The hype surrounding No Way Home couldn't get any bigger, it seems but when the trailer finally hits us, expect it to break the internet in half. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the trailer finally gives us what we've been hoping to see for years now and that is Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire all in one frame.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is scheduled for release in December.
