Extraordinary Attorney Woo Episode 14 sees Attorney Jung resting in the hospital after being in pain during the court hearing. It turns out that he has been diagnosed with Stage 3 stomach cancer.
Finding out about their senior’s health condition, Youngwoo suggests that the Hanbada team find the owner of Haengbok Noodles–the noodle restaurant that Attorney Jung had been excited about when they first landed on Jeju Island.
Unfortunately, they had no leads or progress about the whereabouts of the restaurant’s owner. They even went to its competitor, Haengun Noodles, but the owner only accused Haengbok Noodles of stealing their recipe and copying his business.
Junho notices a chef in the restaurant who reacts weirdly to his boss’ words about Haengbok Noodles, so he decides to confront him privately.
On the other hand, Attorney Jung’s ex-wife visits him in the hospital. She was worried about his condition but immediately became exasperated at how he did not change a single bit despite not seeing each other in almost five years.

Attorney Jung gives the Abbot an idea of how to receive constant support from the government. And while they were having lunch, they found out that the owner of Haengbok Noodles is residing at Hwangjisa as their gongyangju– a person who cooks for the temple.
The team gathers their heads together to advise on how he can reopen Haengbok Noodles for business through the proper legal channels that Hanbada offers. Attorney Jung observes his team and becomes proud of how great they’ve become.
Meanwhile, Han Seonyoung meets with a reporter who wants to confirm his suspicions about Tae Sumi’s daughter. The Hanbada director promises to tell everything but on one condition– the reporter has to publish the article right before Tae Sumi’s confirmation hearing as the Minister of Justice, so she won’t be able to retract the rumour immediately.
