Extraordinary Attorney Woo Episode 9 sees another interesting case from which Attorney Youngwoo and the team gets in charge with it. The defendant is a self-proclaimed leader of the children’s liberation movement who gets arrested for kidnapping 12 students from Mujin Academy.
The situation gets complicated as it turns out that he was the youngest son of Mujin Academy’s director. And he believes that what he did was not a crime, but he merely rescued the children from the prison created by schools, academies, and their parents.
Bang Gu-Ppong, which literally means “fart” in Korean, is a 26-year-old male, the youngest son of Mujin Academy’s director. He believes that he is the chief of the children’s liberation movement. He takes over a school bus scheduled to be at the academy and brings the children with him to a nearby forest.

Park Eun Bin Tries To Understand Koo Kyo Hwan’s Ideology In Extraordinary Attorney Woo Episode 9
As Attorney Youngwoo questions the defendant, she learns that Bang Gu-Ppong has a unique ideology that children must be freed from the pressure of education and that they should have enough time to play and enjoy their lives before it’s too late.
Observing how Korean education is very strict, Attorney Youngwoo and Junho discover that the children only have their dinner at 10PM and are not permitted to leave the school until the bell rings. There are also many ridiculous rules that they must abide by, such as only going to the restroom twice or they will be sent home due to not being able to focus on studying.
This is where Bang Gu-Ppong’s ideology takes in, as he believes the children’s liberation movement is something that the youth needs.
However, he doesn’t know how to express his idea properly. Attorney Youngwoo helped him express his philosophy in court, which gave Bang Gu-Ppong’s mother a deep realisation.
On his final court trial, all the kids he had spent a great time with attended. The court saw Bang Gu-Ppong’s sincere intentions, but it was not enough for him to be pardoned.

Park Eun Bin Continues To Express Her Affection To Kang Tae Oh In Extraordinary Attorney Woo Episode 9

Junho rushes to the law firm to see Youngwoo. He tells her about his feelings, leaving the young attorney in shock from the sudden confession.
Meanwhile, Tae Sumi pays Youngwoo’s father a visit to their kimbap restaurant. As Tae Sumi is a huge personality, a journalist follows her, which will probably spark an issue the next morning.
