Extraordinary Attorney Woo ultimately outshined other K-dramas despite having low ratings in its first two episodes.
The 2022 K-drama explores the life of attorney Woo Young Woo, who has autism spectrum disorder. Despite that, she works at a large law firm and boasts a 164 IQ score. However, her memory and commendable performance in the industry do not help her improve her low emotional intelligence and unsatisfactory social skills.
In its first two episodes on June 29 and 30, the K-drama started calmly by having 0.948 percent and 1.805 percent ratings, respectively.
But little did everyone know that the K-drama actually posed a threat to all series and programs, and it recently soared to its highest ratings yet.

Extraordinary Attorney Woo Episode 5 Makes Historic Feat
On July 13, Nielsen Korea reported that Extraordinary Attorney Woo just saw 10 times increase in ratings through episode 5.
In its recent part, the ENA K-drama scored a whopping 9.138 percent ratings — 10 times higher than episode 1’s record. It is also a 4 percent jump compared to its historic episode 4.
With that, it broke its own record of having the highest ratings in ENA history. For what it’s worth, episode 4 set a new record in ENA history as no drama or flick ever achieved such viewership ratings ever.

Meanwhile, its rivals have not enjoyed an increase in the past weeks.
Eve fell to 3.354 percent, while Insider managed to keep its usual rating at 2.947 percent. Meanwhile, Jinxed at First’s Episode 9 slightly dipped to 2.7 percent.
Extraordinary Attorney Woo Becomes Most Buzzworthy Drama
For the second consecutive week, Extraordinary Attorney Woo secured the No. 1 spot on Good Data Corporation’s weekly list of dramas that generated the most buzz.
It beat Alchemy of Souls, Why Her? Gold Mask, and Eve.
Jinxed at First, Café Minamdang, Link, It’s Beautiful Now, and Doctor Lawyer completed the top 10.
Four of its cast members also appeared on the list of most buzzworthy cast, with Park Eun Bin and Kang Tae Oh appearing at No. 1 and 2, respectively; Joo Hyun Young stood at No. 4; and Kang Ki Young staying at No. 8.
Extraordinary Attorney Woo episode 6 will be released on July 14.
